For this reason, I still do not recommend purchasing Mass Effect 2 Classic on Steam. Not registering your keys makes it impossible to legally use the DLC on Steam without first re-purchasing the game on Origin / EA App. If you can't find a Game key, registering your game on the Origin / EA App becomes impossible (again, see the Finding Your Keys section).

I was able to view my Mass Effect 2 game key using the MassEffect2Config.exe trick (see the Finding Your Keys section). Many people in the past had issues with finding their Mass Effect 2 Game key. So you can't use the (now free) DLC with your Steam copy of Mass Effect 2 Classic without registering them to your EA Account. Mass Effect 2 Classic STILL REQUIRES LOGGING IN TO AN EA ACCOUNT.
